In Bolivia , not far from Potosi , is a gold mine employing 6500 children and young men between the ages of 7-16. For most, there is no escape from a backbreaking short life, but two brothers aged 12 and 14 work hard and plan for an escape to a better life. Deep in the mine is a shrine to the Devil where the miners take offerings believing belief that only the Devil can protect them - a strange anomaly in Catholic community.
