The co-presenting sponsor of the Festival the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWRDA) is responsible for the sustainable economic development of England's Northwest. The range, diversity, and quality of the work puts the region at the cutting edge of the industry and the NWRDA is committed to supporting this vital sector. For 30 years Cicerone has specialised at publishing guide books to the great mountain ranges and walking areas of the world. During this time, Cicerone has developed into one of the leaders in the field. Many of the books provide inspiration for memorable holidays or day outings.

We now produce a range of nearly 300 specialised guides to walking, trekking, climbing, mountaineering and biking. We cover the UK, Europe and have many guides to other regions of the world. We are publishing at least 20 new guides each year as well as updating our guides continually.
