Ian Stephens of Cumbria Tourism (right) presents the Mountain Adventure award to Alastair Lee for Patagonia Winter - Al Powell and Andy Kirkpatrick (on the left) star in the film.

Leo Houlding received the award from Kate Burke of Climber magazine for the Best Climbing film - Aerialist - on behalf of film maker Brad Lynch and Dean Potter.

Lawrence Friell of ASOLO presents the Best Mountaineering Film Award to cameraman Keith Partridge for the splendid The Beckoning Silence.

Jack Tackle receives the Special Jury Award for The Oil and Water Project from Chris Bonington of behalf of director Seth Billington - "we're both from Montana and that's close enough!"

Kate Thomas presents the People's Choice Award to film maker Al Lee for Psyche.

American climber and editor of Alpinist collects the award from Andy Kirkpatrick of Berghaus for King Lines - the Grand Prize of the Festival
- on behalf of film makers Peter Mortimer and Josh Lowell. Christian's called described King Lines as "a story about the passion for climbing and adventure that will inspire future generations."

The winners of the Kendal Film Academy award for 2007 receive their awards from Alice Morrison of Northwest Vision and Media and Brain Hall
