Kendal
Mountain Arts Festival
Presented by Living Art
The Arts Festival is an integral part of the Kendal Mountain Festival, giving visitors the chance to see unique mountain-related exhibitions and experiences drawn together into the same location. All of the Brewery Arts Centre’s exhibition space is packed with varied material for a whole month running up to the Festival, containing something for everyone’s tastes.
In particular our Arts Sponsor, Living Art premiered images from its new exhibition Symphony for the Mountains, a collection of photographs that drew festival-goers over the entire week. Symphony for the Mountains is a celebration of the world’s most inaccessible mountain landscapes from some of the country's top mountaineers, outdoor photographers, painters and writers including Bill Birkett, Simon Nadin, Rob Collister, Andy Perkins, Jim Curran, Ian Parnell, Doug Scott, Oli Metherell, Cubby Cuthbertson, Mick Fowler, Alistair Lee, Leo Dickinson, John Norris, John Beatty, Dave Willis, Tony West and Andy Cave.
